It’s inconvenient to use the same word to mean two different things. How about this: there’s “reality”, which doesn’t change, and there’s “science”, which tries to understand, explain, and predict reality. Science accomplishes its goal to varying degrees of success depending on how well the data it’s given represents reality, and on the questions it asks. If science is fed lies and prevented from asking certain questions, science inevitably fails to match reality.
Science is man’s attempt to understand the realities of God and the universe.
Man’s understanding (science) barely scratches the surface of reality.
“Thus says the Lord: “Learn not the way of the nations, nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them, for the customs of the peoples are vanity.”
