Efficacy of Nicotine in Preventing COVID-19 Infection (NICOVID-PREV)
Daily active smokers are infrequent among outpatients or hospitalized patients with COVID-19. Several arguments suggest that nicotine is responsible for this protective effect via the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR).
Nicotine may inhibit the penetration and spread of the virus and have a prophylactic effect in COVID-19 infection.
You don't have to smoke it, just can use a lozenge.
There’s science behind that.
Wuhan bats rarely smoked cigarettes, so the virus wasn’t used to “armored” lungs when it made the totally natural leap to humans.
Oh, just look at f’d-up China. Odds are that at least a few of their bats were burning a (tiny bat-sized) pack-a-day, or more.
Word. And I’d also do whatever I could to get any assets I could out of that country, despite draconian, distortionary capital controls, because even though much of the West is currently in the midst of an undeniable “everything bubble”, that doesn’t remotely approach the mind-blowing scale and size of the Chinese asset bubble that will utterly destroy the CCP when it bursts… which it will. Although I don’t know if bats generally accumulate financial assets, and especially doubt that those with a spendy cigarette habit do. But you know what I’m saying.
Interesting that both Bats, and Tobacco plants spend a great deal of time hanging upside down.
