I am wondering on this as well. Another thing to consider, I believe there was a large solar flare at the time she was flying, When a flare happens it sends a radiation/energy pulse that hits earth within seconds, if you are flying at high altitude its worse than on ground. I have no idea if it hit the same time she was up and in the same area though, just recall that there was one. heh. I know there has been more since then, waiting to see if we get some solar storm activity out of them in the next couple days.

I don't think so. It takes light 8.31 minutes to reach earth from the sun. No way is radiation going to reach earth any faster than the speed of light!
er uh, Solar flare and seconds later check radiation maps.. will see what area it affected 8.31 mins then it is :).. Any solar wind/storm from plasma stuff wont happen for 48+ hours after though.
