My employer just tipped me off that now that the vaccines are safe and fda approved, I "may" be required to receive the vaccine in the next few months. They "would hope that I would go on my own so that's not the case"
So I need an employee exemption but not depending on it being eua since that is seemingly over with.
Here is the deal. We and our employers have never dug deep into HIPPA and laws. Everyone is just pushing shit they don’t know. Just like taking your temp at the door. We never agreed to this.
Did your employer change your contact? Yes they did. Does a vaccine change your job in anyway. No it does not. You don’t need the vaccine. Is the employer now going to take full responsibility for any side affects including being sued if you die? If they are asking about medical on you...you have the right to ask about everyone’s medical in the office.
Even if you take the vaccine does it stop COVID. No it does not. Ok. What percentage does it help with COVID? 91% 86%? Where is the numbers on it? And I heard it goes down 6% each month the vaccine sits on the shelf. You have a 99.95% of a full recovery if not taking it. So taking it puts you more at risk.
Last time I’m checked your health is between you and your doctor. Your employer only needs to know if it affects your job performance.
Remember the cure can’t be worse then the disease.
There is some good paperwork for Americanfrontlinedoctors.. https://americasfrontlinedoctors.org/legal/
Hippa doesn't apply to most situations.
It looks like I'm left to calling their bluff and seeing if they'll force my hand by demanding it or face termination
