So, I guess you could say that, most people are not being Anti-Vaxxers with this shot, they are being Anti-gene therapiers. Most, I mean there are some people who are very much Anti-any vaccine.
I can't speak for all gene therapy because they have their place in cancer treatment.
THIS first generation vaccine is horrid. For a lot of reasons.
There are traditional covid vaccines that are coming down the pipeline. I most certainly will look at them. They are DNA based. The current vaccinations are mRNA.
Too new to try for me and my family- some family member(s) are immunocompromised. The very people that they are forcing this vaccine one--the people who can not handle it. People in general do not think.
Yeah, I am on the same boat there. Mom was hospitalized a year ago Christmas day with what now, seems the typical reasons people end up there for Covid (was just before they mentioned covid world wide of course) When the gunk cleared out of her lungs after a week they found two spots of cancer, ended up two different types of cancer in one lung, while the upper one has just now been dwindled away, they are looking at what will treat the second that has not budged with the treatment working for the first. heh. She herself will not take the vaccine, in her words "those people don't know what the hell they are doing" she does not even like to wear the mask, only does when she goes in for her appointments though, she does not get out and about much. I do have a couple of family members who had chosen to accept the vaccine.. and now are very angry about it.
Current Gene therapy research to cure or prevent this virus is a no go, it is already proving to be a waste of time and lives. I have faith though, give the science time and maybe we will see HONEST breakthroughs for treatment, right now they are just pushing BS like a fake tonic salesmen of old. IMO
Oh, in my moms case, she says she is lucky she got bad and had to go in on Christmas day because if she had gotten bad and went in a couple months later, they would of blown out her lungs on a vent instead of taking time to actually treat her for what she had.
It is a vaccine, and gene therapy.
Your point is well taken.
