We pulled our 2 youngest from Parochial school last year to avoid all uncertianty. We used Abeka to home school and loved it. It's fully accredited and the entire school curriculum is provided. Text books, day by day schedules, teacher books with answers, all quizes and tests, videos of actual interactive classrooms that include the students at home and more. Everything you need to succeed. They allow you opt out of common core and the Christian based program keeps our religious values in mind in every class. Even more so than the Parochial school we were attending before. My 5th grader was talking to friends about geometry and they weren't even close to learning that yet. I caught one 7th grade class teaching about civil rights and the dangers of communism. The freedom is amazing. I could ramble for hours about the contrast and benefits. We are doing it again this year and not looking back. October field trip to Mount Rushmore already scheduled. No make up work. They can do it in the car....or not. We have full control. Last year for 5th and 7th fully accredited was about $2.2K Good Luck!
