We were trained to perform final base denial. Everyone’s job was to burn, blow up, sledge hammer, whatever might be useful to the enemy. It was an order given in anticipation of the base being overrun so we had to anticipate when the destruction would have to start to finish in time.

There is no excuse for this much and this type of gear being left behind. There was more than enough time to ship it out or blow it up.
