Just my current read on the situation. Possibly just a brain shart. But...

So, the senior command, US Army, issues orders to the gate guards to refuse entry to Bagram of US citizens.

The Marines at one gate ignore the order and continue to process US citizens into the base. Senior command confronts the Marines and the Marines tell them to get stuffed. (says scuttlebutt)

Suicide bomber comes at the same gate.

Now word is that the maladministration knew the bomber was coming and had an armed drone on-site to stop the bomber, had the bomber identified while in route to the gate and refused to pull the trigger.

Was this an organized assault to close that gate and remove those Marines?

Did the WH, Joint Chiefs, and the Intel Community just pull a Fort Sumter on the Marines?
