I've retracted, see edits to my comment above. I am actually really grateful for GP because they absolutely jump on things that no one else will (such as voter fraud). But at the same time, they will print a whole article based on something someone said on twitter, which was the case here, and yes - as you pointed out - not do the homework or print retraction if found to be BS.
Is what it is, got to double check everything. My bad, frens!
Yes. The "lady being led into the capital by the FBI" with the exit sign cropped out. They should have issued an apology after that because it spread like wildfire
"google translate" is just one service. It's not like there aren't competitor translate services (or dictionaries) that would still have this term. Wayback machine would also still have it.
My bad I guess, got this from an old gateway pundit article years ago https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2019/08/unreal-google-buried-true-meaning-of-covfefe-i-will-stand-up-once-president-trump-tweeted-it/
GP makes shit up all the time for clicks. And I've never seen them print a retraction, so you'll never even know how much BS you've read from there.

+1 for throwing the edit to the top.
Yeah but now we got an anon who has linked Zach Vorhies' leaked Google document in which they censored the translator for "cov fe fe."
So i literally have no idea now lol
I have seen them use bad sources before but haven't seen them just make something up. Got an example?

Agree, i don't think they "just make shit up"
