In a real pandemic going out shopping wouldn't feel like freedom, it would be terrifying.
In a real pandemic EVERY family would know an IMMEDIATE family member who died.
Roads are still full, no one at work has been lost, all the homeless are still around, house prices haven't dropped, there were no bodies wrapped in plastic on the streets.......
No one who died has had an influence on society AT ALL.
A coworker said "Because of the masks!" when I pointed this out...... OMG! What the fuck? A paper mask prevented the Black Death V2? Bullshit.
Yeah, hubby and I morbidly thought “well this may be how we can afford a house if all these people are gonna die” back in early 2020. You mean to tell me with all these deaths, it made not a single dent in the high-demand housing market?! What this means is that there were no more deaths than a usual year.
Like an email sent out by management this week trying to appeal to emotion for my people to get jabbed and some of us are like "WHO died? Does anyone know anyone who died? Anyone directly related even and not some friend of a friend of a friend's aunt that you've never heard of before?" Supposedly one employee died but in a company of tens of thousands of people nobody in my office at least has heard their name before.

There is no turning back for some people...
