Many are now stockpiling contraceptives because of the new abortion laws in Texas. That's good. They should have been using them all along so they don't have to murder the unborn. If you are having sex and don't want a child use birth control, real simple.

This is basically banning abortions, you can’t get an accurate result on an at home test until you’re about 6 weeks along. (For the record I’m very prolife so I consider this great progress)
You can. I used a cheap pregnancy test 6 days after conception (tracking with body temperature and ovulation sticks) and got a positive. This would be approximately 3 weeks into the cycle. The latest I got a positive was 12 days after conception, around 4 weeks in.
ANY line aside from the control, however faint, on a pee stick is a positive.
These women who are having abortions are not TTC they will not even think to test until their period is late, putting them at best 5 weeks along, most likely 6. This is when they’ll be testing, 6 weeks.
I know it’s ~possible~ (and wouldn’t be completely accurate as your standard tests will say wait until you’re at least 5 days late, and it’s best to wait even a little longer) to see a line, however as I said, the women who are testing early like you’re talking about are those who WANT a baby and are probably testing every month.
