Right, I homeschooled for a while a few years back when I came across some issues. I just had a “go ahead, try me” attitude and nobody dared 😂
I have two little ones now and am considering just starting them right off homeschooling.
The way things are now, with teachers hanging Antifa flags in the classroom, I think I would definitely start with homeschooling! Mine moved to an online public school for junior high and high school, but all communication goes through me and I can sit it on classes whenever I want to. They also record all classes so I can go back and watch if anything gets hinky. Thankfully I've never been alarmed or concerned but at least we have transparency at this school!
We live in a small(ish) town in Georgia, so far I haven’t run into anything extreme, but I am concerned that we’re going that direction as a whole. I have a lot to think about.
Kudos for taking time to think it over, so many parents don't and don't get involved. Each situation is different so I never sat "homeschool, you gonna LOVE it!" I did love some aspects, but my kids mostly hated it. I didn't have a lot of time to prepare fun and engaging activities so it wasn't fun for them. I take full responsibility for that and wish I'd done some things differently. Thinking on it means you will make the best decision for your family and bring aware of what we're up against is half the battle!

Oh yeah I can relate. When we homeschooled I had a baby then after not too long was pregnant again, I was not my best.
