Section 9 / Other theories
Eugene B. Dinkin
In "Allegations of PFC Eugene Dinkin",[479] the Mary Farrell Foundation summarizes and archives documents related to Private First Class Eugene B. Dinkin, a cryptographic code operator stationed in Metz, France, who went AWOL in early November 1963, entered Switzerland using a false ID, and visited the United Nations' press office and declared that officials in the U.S. government were planning to assassinate President Kennedy, adding that "something" might happen to the Commander in Chief in Texas. Dinkin was arrested nine days before Kennedy was killed, placed in psychiatric care (deemed a mad man?), and released shortly thereafter. His allegations eventually made their way to the Warren Commission, but, according to the Ferrell Foundation account, the Commission "took no interest in the matter, and indeed omitted any mention of Dinkin from its purportedly encyclopedic 26 volumes of evidence.

The Prior Knowledge of Eugene B Dinkin
Dinkin was a cryptographer. Since he knew of the assassination in advance, the likely explanation was that he learned about it because information pointing to the plot was included in encrypted military communications. Dinkin, however, claimed he had found out in advance because he was analyzing newspapers to spot any trend or significant information that was being published. Dinkin claimed he was using a technique called "psychological sets" This is, in fact, an established psychological theory often used by Madison Avenue advertising agencies.

Has anyone ever taken the time to research Norman F. Dixon?
First thing I did after reading through your posts, was look up Norman F. Dixon. Military psychologist. His theories sounds very interesting and I probably should read his books. This concept of "military incompetence" I think can also be applied to anything involving leadership, such as business and politics.
These two are recommended / research and experimentation / not commentary
The nature of a controversy / 1971 / N. Dixon
The controversy is about why the research and experimentation concerning subliminal perception is being suppressed in the United States (note book written in 1971).
