Is it possible that they have a point? Ivermectin is used to treat parasites. COVID is supposedly a virus. I could see why some might think an anti-parasite drug won't work to treat a virus, however, deworming while infected with a virus isn't necessarily a bad idea. There's no doubt that Ivermectin works for many things, but are there really studies that show it can be used to treat COVID or any other virus? I think this is why the other side thinks we're conspiracy theorists. Ivermectin is a wonder drug, won a Nobel Prize in 2015, and has saved millions of lives worldwide since the late 1970's, BUT claiming it can kill a virus is kind of a stretch no? Or did I miss something?
You missed a lot, but there are two main points. Combined with zinc, from what I understand, it interferes with the rna replication process. Interrupt that and it becomes amazingly easy for your body to crush the remainder. Then we have the other theories which are intriguing to say the least. Namely, if all the drugs that happen to work on covid are anti-parasitics ... are we actually dealing with a virus at all?
Ahhh I forgot about India! Thanks. The only problem here is that they are relying on PCR test results to prove that Ivermectin is effective for treating COVID. They show 2% of Ivermectin-takers tested positive, yet 11.7% of non-takers also tested positive. Since the PCR test is bunk, these numbers don't really matter right? Your point about rna replication is interesting though. Here's what I found:
"...the most extensively characterized viral endosymbionts of protozoan parasites of medical relevance are small, non-enveloped, double-stranded (ds) RNA viruses of the family Totiviridae..."
So, double-stranded RNA viruses are the most common product of protozoan parasites...which can easily be stopped by simply taking Ivermectin? Any scientists out there that can help make sense of all this? I just don't like jumping to conclusions about things I don't fully understand. What do you think?
Just theory but I wonder if maybe weβve all been manipulated into missing something. Consider why so many people treated for a βvirusβ died, but people being treated with a medication that is meant for parasitical infections are cured - quickly! What better way to hide the actual culprit (and therefore keep the βcureβ from being approved for treatment) than to disguise it by calling it something it isnβt? I have no proof - but what if? Who would think to test a COVID patient for parasites?
That's what I'm trying to figure out. The screenshot just says they're Ivermectin studies but I can't access them to see if they're even related to COVID. I have to do more research but it looks like protozoan parasites can carry certain viruses that lead to complications, even death, if not treated. So Ivermectin would seem to work here to prevent the parasites from spreading a virus. I still don't see where COVID comes in though. I'm no virologist that's for sure.
Wow! Thanks for this. So there's plenty of evidence that Ivermectin works in conjunction with other things to treat COVID but the question is, why does it work? This complicates things. Are people being injected with parasites? This is crazy.
All kinds of links in the other comments will provide more details.

I almost forgot to say the reason you donβt understand is because Nothing makes sense. Science is broken right now. Having been hijacked by politics, it is loaded with lies. At this point we each need to use our own common sense. I no longer trust, but verify; I verify BEFORE I trust.

There is MASSIVE evidence of Ivermectin's effectiveness but it is being suppressed. Look to India for that. In fact, one WHO scientist is deep doodoo over it. https://www.nextbigfuture.com/2021/06/india-could-sentence-who-chief-scientist-to-death-for-misleading-over-ivermectin-and-killing-indians.html
A little digging and you will find a lot of good info.

Huh? Those cited studies werenβt about its effectiveness for deworming, homie.
