I have a rusty old can of Jeyes Fluid - can't remember how old it is but has a paper price sticker on it and how long since you saw one of those. Anyway it says on the can "kills Bird Flu!" They have always been pulling this trick for ordinary detergents and disinfectants to make you think it is something new.
Those labels have been on the products since last year I remember seeing the labels.
I use hydrogen peroxide as my main cleaner I have for years, l have for years, long before covid. The only time the shortages really affected me last year was when everyone else started buying it to clean lol. We always have a couple months of toilet paper and everything else stored in the house.
It does kill Covid, doesn't mean you're supposed to drink it. Since when was that the implication of household cleaners? So if one of them says it "kills germs" that implies you should drink it? I think the advertisers are assuming a certain level of intelligence with their labeling that is above that of a door knob.
Pretty sure Lysol or Pine-Sol are running TV ads with the same claim.

I just lick the counters because I had the cooties (19), and now I have killer antibodies that can knock down cootie germs by just looking at them.

They gave TRUMP hell for ssuggesting Chlorine Dioxide would cure Covid. Chlorine Dioxide is NOT bleach, but is a disinfectant.
