Here’s to you. Here’s to the sacrifices you’ve made for the future. Here’s to the strength it to took to stand up and say NO. Here’s to Making America Great Again via educating from the heart. I’m about to quit my job and jump into this uncertain future with you! Godspeed to you Fellow Tutornons
I love how you say ‘educating from the heart!’ So true ! I stand with you, fren!
Homeschool is spelled F-R-E-E-D-O-M
If you have kids, what the hell are you waiting for??
HS my own kids (okay, my wife does most of the work!). Every day I tell myself, "My kids will not hear about sexual perversion today, come home panicked about "climate change" or have to wear a mask" Great feeling.
Yea that's the truth.
I struggle sometimes with how much to tell my child as he's not even 10 and if things continue on course, then I expect the government to try to intrude beyond their limits sooner than later.
My kid asks me things, I figure, it’s my job to be the one. The hard part is his dad thinks I’m yknow, the redneck rayciss. I gotta tell him something that he can lever against what his dad tells him, challenge his own feels on things. This whole debacle has made parenting an even more challenging adventure. His dad is cool with the homeschool thing tho... he thinks it’ll be much safer because CoVId, so that’s a win
First year homeschooling.... best decision ever made. Good luck!
Ha.
It does sometimes look like the top as well. Depending on how many kids you have and if the baby needs attention 🤣
I totally believe you 😆
A very big positive to homeschooling is you can find out what your child/ren's passion is/are and cater the curriculum to their passion.
Yes, honing in on their true God given gifts
I wanted to homeschool my daughter from day one but I had to work full time and my wife didn't think she could handle it. We always made sure my daughter wasn't indoctrinated to the liberal bullshit. My daughter was supposed to start her freshman year this year but the worthless dumbfucks running my pathetic state (NV) have mandated masks for the students and I'm sure the vaccine mandates are right around the corner.
We've had enough and pulled her out of school less than a week before she was supposed to start. Combined with me getting a full-time remote job, we are no longer tied down and are now free to travel, explore, and teach my daughter life lessons on our own terms.
I've gotta say, I hate what has become of our country but I have done my best to find the silver linings.
Finding silver linings has become so important in the mental battle of this. It is a tool more people need to add to their soul survival kit.

If Harvard hates it, it means it is good. I'd be very worried if these scum said HS was wonderful.
You know it!!
Yeah my son is 1 and I'm trying to figure out what to do. We live aboard in Korea and if we come back to the states, 100% home schooling him. I wouldn't mind him going to school in South Korea, but they are mask crazy here so...
Just pulled mine out of a private school. They mandated masks again, saying they had to submit to government authorities. I provided links to numerous studies showing the ineffectiveness and danger of wearing masks. It's gonna be a challenge, but we're ready for the adventure.
You'll be fine, El Mapache. I'm not in the States, but every HS like us knows that the US is the Mecca or HSing. Millions of people doing it and amazing resources on line. You can get an off the peg curriculum from the internet and/or do you own stuff streamlined towards your kids' needs and hobbies. Good luck!
It’s an uphill battle. We don’t expect the school districts in my area to go against Browns scepter but we won’t let off the pressure either.
My favourite movie of all time. It has everything: great characters, great plot, fab scenery, and wonderful music. And then there's Julie Andrews...
