I think the ever improving science of prenatal care is having the effect of decreasing the popularity of abortion. It is becoming ever harder to deny that the fetus is a separate human individual and not a part of the mother's body. Thus "my body, my choice" becomes less of an issue.

FL is one of the reddest States in the Union. It's been the voting complacency of the hard working Americans here that have made it seem like we're a Purple State. Even in the "bluest" of counties here - Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Hillsborough, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Duval, and Leon - the Conservatives out number the Liberals. You can thank the MSM and the [DS] for making it look like those counties control FL.

Edit: I would argue that TX and FL are THE freest States in the Union, too. Just because one judge in one liberal County here in FL attempted to shoot down DeSantis's anti mask/anti vaccine mandate doesn't mean squat. Here in Volusia County, those School Board Directors, the Superintendent, and the rest of the County Council are fixing to learn real quick what it means when you go against the Will of The People. Hell, ALL of the counties that are fighting for forced masks/vaccines are fixing to find that out...real effing quick like, too. Let's a e how they like losing paychecks and State funding. Buuden has tri d to find those counties directly, but according to Stare Law, he can't do shit about it. Those Fed funds go into a big giant pool for distribution. DeSantis will (has begun, actually) just cut that flow off. And now any business or govt will be fined $5K for violating his orders. And that's per case, not cumulative.

We don't see nearly half the issues other States are seeing except with these liberal areas. 8, maybe 9 counties out of 68. And even in those counties, if you travel into the 'burbs and rural areas, it's almost solidly red among the voters. Like I said, you can thank the MSM and [DS] for making it appear that we're a purple state.
