Very interesting dig. I'm also wondering if the pic was of the USS Alabama or something else. It's so hard to see it, but Trump clearly wanted it seen from how clearly he touched and looked down at it during the video of him talking about Hurricane Dorian.
The Picture of Dorian Gray is an interesting idea.
Great dig on the USS Alabama.
What also do you think about all the absurd stuff about Trump ripping documents apart, shoving them down pipes, and then handing them over taped back together to the National Archive? It's insane. No regular person would ever believe such a crazy story.
BTW: The Picture of Dorian Gray is an interesting tale, if you've never read it.
Here's a brief synopsis:

Thanks!
I'm still digesting Trump's ripping of documents. I haven't completely figured this one out yet. I've got to let this one percolate for a bit. There are a lot of questions in my mind surrounding the "documents." Whose documents? Trump's or the DS's? What, exactly, is meant by "documents?" Do we take this literally, or is this some sort of comm? Why are they being flushed down the toilet? Clogging the toilet? What is really the National Archive's role in all of this? Friend or foe?
I don't think we should take it literally. It's an absurd claim by Maggie Hasserman. It's a comm in my opinion. It's made to be absurd so that no one will take it seriously. Trump's base will roll their eyes and think "fake news". It's basically only meant to be understand by those who read comms. Everyone else will disregard. The only will believe it and not see as a comm are the ones who are brainwashed to hate Trump and who don't understand comms.
Evidence = feces.
Decode blog talks about that one a lot.
I wrote in my main post my theory on what the National Archive was doing. This was my theory on it, I'm not sure if you caught it so I'll repost here:
Sorry, I guess I didn't make myself clear on this:
"What, exactly, is meant by "documents?" Do we take this literally, or is this some sort of comm?"
What I meant was, is this comms regarding certain documents, either the DS's or Trump's.
Or
Does the term, "document," have another meaning, just like water = information.
document = ??
I think documents going flush down the toilet means they are like feces so like evidence. But the next claim is that Trump says "I don't flush". (I don't get rid of the evidence).
Documents are literal in this case.
It's legitimate business deals.
Blackmail would be illegitimate business deals.
But being legitimate doesn't mean public. They're private documents, for private companies, doing private business deals.
But, they create a path -- a connection. They're a path through the woods completely surrounded by scat (evidence).
It's like finding out Prime Minister Abe from Japan had a Vatican Bank account.
Nothing is illegal about that, but just knowing he was dealing with the Vatican directly opens up an entirely new avenue for investigation.
