No, I live in a little apple orchards/ski town with not a single Corona-chan case reported yet in this town. At least as far as teachers go, they all got the death jabs. I know you guys keep hearing low vaccination rates in Japan, but much of that came from back in May when only elderly people got the clot shots. However in light of recent news about the contamination found in the Moderna vials as well as the push for ivermectin, I would hope that demand is tapering off. It would explain why suddenly they are wanting to restrict inter-prefectural travel to try to coerce people into getting them.
The food in Japan is incredible. I'm from Arizona, so maybe my experience is different, but Japanese tomatoes and strawberries are so delicious. The food here is far better and we try to avoid American meat products and processed foods as much as possible. There isn't much American food I really miss, and American sweets and snacks are trash in comparison.
Oh for sure, absolutely. They appreciate the natural flavors of fresh veggies and fruits way more than the west does, traditionally. I love that about Japanese cuisine. Each part of the meal is meant to compliment eachother. Loved watching the shows Samurai Gourmet and Midnight Diner a lot
Is that in Tokyo proper? Hearing statistics that reflect low vaccination rates in Japan
