Maybe some people will be willing to change at the precipice but it's usually too late to start changing at that point. That's like saying back in Noah's times once it had been raining for an unusually long period of time, people wanted to change. At some point it is too late for all of humanity to be saved. Some may make it, but I think we are past this point already. We have strayed so far from God as a human race, a new age of righteous humans is drawing ever closer and we won't be part of it.
Slash and burn may be an inherent feature of human civilization or it may be one forced upon us (I favor the latter). I believe every great period of advancement has been preceded by nearly cataclysmic events. Yet somehow, enough seeds of humanity have emerged on the other side of the bottleneck to continue, even prosper.
At the precipice, some will comprehend and take heed. I believe most will not. If you do not turn from the precipice, what happens? You go over; buh bye.
It's depressing what has become of this humanity, if you think of it like "that's the end of it". But we live many lives and our inner divinity is eternal and can never die. Over the course of our lives, from moment to moment, each of us makes choices. The wrong choices we make, that turns into karma. Our karma decides what our circumstances will be in the next life. However, Karma is negotiable. You can use this very lifetime, however much you have left, to make up for it. Just as the consequences of bad actions are superior to the bad action itself, so are the consequences for good actions. If we turn around and take a different path, we can make up for it. :) Never despair.
Kind of like the Roman Empire. Right at the end, when decades of moral relativism had brought the empire to its knees, the people reached the precipice and found the will to change. Only then did we enter the golden era.
lol jks. The empire fell and Europe had to endure 1000 years of faggotry before a new civilization emerged.
The great failure was allowing the cancel culture to ascend. That baby should have been killed in its crib. The 'elder statesmen" of the entertainment world only spoke up (and that's only a handful) when the damage was done and the canlellors were coming for them.
I never realized that quote was from "The day the earth stood still"!
That is juxtaposed to Q saying "As the world turns"
It's as if Q was telling us "Not yet" because "the earth is still turning, were not at the precipice".

Watch for the "Contain It" moment.
whoa, that's freaky.
made me think of this book.
The Next End of the World | C.I.A. Classified - https://invidio.us/watch?v=wvjJqIXYT1w - 25min totally worth it.

Why the defensive comment?
It happens to us all, I have my days, too.

Yes, surely some righteous ones of us will survive, but they will be few, I believe it is said to be 144'000.
Bit depressing. We shall see. Free will.

Ironic it's John Cleese, who's a douchebag
Not entirely fair. He's been a lefty at times, but he's also talked a lot against cancel culture.

Care to explain? I have family that was employed by him and they attest he is quite a great guy.
I saw him in person on his tour. FULL BLOWN TDS. It was embarrassing.
