Keep seeing this thing with Apple always more, this should raise serious concerns, both for the ethical side of the 'not only looking on your device but even WHAT IS CURRENTLY running within an app), and also on the technical side for the latter, didn't check how they do it, but i think, there' should be an api in the os, or there's a kind of virtualization layer, whatever, if they can do it on Telegram nothing stops them from taking a screenshot of you logging in the banking app, or from even sending a text or dumping down your address book and anything else
I've lived this same blocking of some channels. Apple sucks. I was going to buy an M1 Macbook Air, but F Apple now. Going back to Linux. Will get rid of my iPhone too. I hate censorship, especially when it's to hide truth. I refuse to give them another penny. As a photographer, I rely heavily on apps for Apple that aren't in the Linux ecosystem, but I'll adapt to GIMP and Darktable just to say FU Apple.
I may still have to buy an M1 (or M1X/M2) Mac for work, but my main PC is now a Dell XPS running Linux.
As a developer, I figure if nothing else my role can be in figuring out which apps need a better presence on Linux so I can spend my time helping to make them.
And yes, the graphic design and photography space needs some help, but it will get there.

I’m easing my way in.

It was likely telegram doing the censoring, not apple.
I would think if telegram did it the web side would behave the same way.
