Interesting watch how quickly the narrative gets derailed. In one if the threads they try to convince themselves that the doctor in question is a great guy, it was just bad journalism, and it very quickly ended up debating how far to the left NPR is.

Wow you just educated this Boomer. I never spent much time on there, as I didn't dive-in the early years and whenever I lurked there it was far too left for my taste. I did see the draw to it tho, as there's quite a diverse ecosystem with any interest reflected there. But you nailed it as "toxic" is a perfect descriptor. Great link 👍🏼
