No more Mariners or Seahawks games for me, and I'll never get to attend a Seattle Kraken game.
inb4 sports are overran by libs and I should be boycotting them anyways.
Regardless of your stance on the NFL, MLB, NHL, etc, they are and have been a massive part of my life since I was a baby, and this feels like I've lost custody of my children today.
I need to get out of Seattle.
I can think of well over one-thousand reasons to leave Seattle. One of them is not professional sports nazi-like demands.
Oh, trust me. If I didn't have all of my family in this area, I'd have been gone long ago.
Beautiful area. Ruined with "progressive" politics. It is coming home to roost now and I suspect things will get much worse before it gets better. Come to Texas! It is hotter than hell, but we have enough crazy-ass rednecks to keep the commies in check.
Wife and I have talked a lot about Texas. It's preferred over Florida due to weather, bugs, storms, etc. I'm not sure where in Texas I'd go. I don't wanna be near large populations, but I also don't want to lose too many ammentities that we enjoy. Any suggestions on smaller towns that still fulfill ammentities in Texas? Gonna sound hilarious but Taco Bell is a must! LOL
My favorite city in Texas is San Antonio. It would definitely check all of the boxes for amenities. Wonderful downtown area and the city is brimming with culture. Very hot in the summertime. Austin can be a nice place, if you are young and very liberal minded (I'm not and thus avoid the place like the plague). Anywhere near Galveston Bay (Seabrook, Kemah, Clear Lake Shores, League City) is nice, but hurricanes can be a nuisance. College Station is also an up and coming location. Nice area with great amenities. Avoid Houston proper. Dallas is o.k., but not my style. Check out Brenham; it has a somewhat small population but it is smack in the middle of large cities making for easy access to big city activities. Finally, The Woodlands or Conroe. Both are wonderful forested areas that offer excellent, first class amenities.
Wonderful reply! I'm going to save your comment and use it later when we're actually ready to make the move. Thank you so much!
Love my beautiful state. But it has been ruined by the Progressives.
Ownership will step up when no one buys tix.
Get out for now. Once the owners start losing money they'll let everyone in.....that is if by then you really want to.
The only thing really keeping me here is my family. Parents are retired here, siblings live in the area, nephews, nieces, etc. Would be hard to leave everyone. Eventually I'll have no choice.
If you leave eventually they will follow.
Those who say this only say it to make themselves feel better about not leaving where ever they decide not to leave
I'm with you fren... watched my Toronto Blue Jays since I was 5...got George Bell's autograph when I was around 10. However, I quit cold turkey last year when we peasants were locked down and they were allowed to play. I do miss it though...it was my little release from stress.
I used to be a big baseball fan. Now I couldn't tell you anything about it outside of the Pittsburgh Pirates being owned by a glorified welfare recipient.
You'll be fine. I haven't listened to so much as one second of a broadcast on the radio the past couple of seasons. Never in a million years did I think I'd stop following that game show yet I did :-).
Amen.
Time to leave that beautiful place.
Fucking shame!
Fuck the libs!
Fuck the globalists!
Fuck communists!
All commies go to Hell!
Edit: a word
Go Seahawks! And that the Mariners with you when you leave!
