God gave us free will. There is sin, and He knows that. Does he condone it? Absolutely not. He wants ALL to repent and come to Him. That’s the whole purpose for dying on the cross. There is evil in this world and we are told that. His Word tells us that our life won’t be easy. There are terrible things happening. The devils powers are strong, but He has already overcome and won. The day will come where they will pay the price.

So you think sin is arbitrarily evil? Then why is it not called evil?

It is evil and it is called evil.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, and against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the Lord evil is avoided. Proverbs 15:26

Romans talks a lot about evil, and I compare it a lot to what is happening today. Ephesians is also very good. Speaks of the Full Armor of God we need to prepare ourselves with for what is coming.
