I always feel like the occult would be a very intriguing road of research, but you end up meeting some really weird people in the pursuit, and they are people you often may have to have a working relationship with that you may have a mutual disagreement on just about everything with.

Not to mention if you go to a cabin in a forest and open up a weird book made of flesh and scribed in blood to try and scare your friends with.
