And thats why most people don’t know what usury is.
Jimmy Carter deregulated usury, supposedly because poor people needed more debt.

I used to think this was one of the worst things a country could do. Now it has gotten so bad, I think we just need to tell those we owe, "Sorry. We can't pay and we're not going to pay. Ever. Or even try. Thanks for your help. You're welcome to all the money the corrupt politicians you had in your pocket have stored away. Oh wait, no you're not. We're keeping that too. Have a pleasant day."
