Huh? What is relee mean? And how under constitution can we elect any global anything, let alone a hidden dead man?
It reminds me of the Ilias written by Homer. We are so infused with the idea of moral high ground, we often overlook the qualities in our opponents. Being an honorable man will eventually lead towards one solution: being on the side of fact and truth as the only authority.
Honor does not come from killing enemies. But comes from right action. The more ideology is signaled, the less virtue is demonstrated.
Virtue in the classical sense comes from the trivium and the quadrivium. Those are hardly taught, yet still available to those willing to learn. But with people like Robert E.Lee and others some of that quality shines through.
This is what I think, the founding fathers thought of when they commended virtue and vigilance to keep the Repubic.
I was hoping this statement would be clarifying the announcement that he’ll be commentating a boxing match on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. That can’t be real.
