It’s not about the amount of guns you have left. It’s about the message the citizens sent when they handed them over without a fight 20 years ago. It sent a message to the elite that Aus was ripe for the picking, that the people are willing to give up their rights for the “greater good” of public safety.

Gun rights are a proxy for all of the other human rights. If a government can convince its population to hand over its guns, the result is inevitable. The next human rights will continue to fall like dominoes.

It’s quite beautiful in some ways. For years the rest of the western world has looked at Americans down their nose for having such a gun culture. For being redneck racists with a gun fetish. So many smug liberals asking with a sneer why you would need a gun in the current year.

It was never about just the guns. The power lies not in the violence capable with firearms, the power is the refusal of the majority to submit to the demands of the media and government. It sets a precedent.

Don’t you think they want to do to the US what they are doing everywhere else? Of course they do. That’s why they spent billions and billions corrupting the election.

So what’s stopping them from doing to us, what they are doing to you? Fear. The government is legitimately terrified of “patriots” banding together. They fear us. Immensely.

Your government doesn’t fear you. That’s the problem.
