Some of these people appear to have shown up later elsewhere, even using their own names. I've seen convincing photos. But that was many years ago.
That reminds me of a groaner of a joke that made the rounds back then: What does NASA stand for? Need Another Seven Astronauts.
Have you ever known any pilots? Any experimental aircraft pilots, otherwise known as test pilots? These men and a very few women and are rock solid. So are the engineers. They are constitutionally unable to participate in the sort of scam you accuse them of committing. And I would bet my life on this.

Let your eye find the star closest to the center of the flag. Note that star, and the 2 and a half directly above it, are in a shadow. Note that the shape of the shadow in both flags is identical, and covers the exact same number of stars

Note the bright white center of the base is now gone, and that if this white light was supposedly flames from the rocket exhaust, then we can clearly see there is no exhaust coming from underneath the lander
