Can a governor unilaterally order an audit? I was under the impression that was usually under the purview of the legislature. Could be wrong. Could be state-dependent.

Out of a pool of 46 candidates, it's hard to argue against the expedience of consolidating the vote. Ending up with Jenner would be the ultimate comic tragedy.
