I play a ton of Dead By Daylight with my best friends and a majority of them are normies with center and just barely to the right views. My one buddy was saying "does Joe Biden realize how much this country fucking hates him? I love that at college football games that 'fuck Joe Biden' is the chant now.'" Constantly, all day today and yesterday, has been shitting on him left and right. And we NEVER talk politics. Hell, he's even talking about buying an AR after just telling me two weeks ago he didn't feel like buying a gun.

With all due respect, if it WASN'T for video games, I would've lost my mind.
And to be fair, video games are providing you with an opportunity to wake normies up.
Based name. I love Battlefield. BF4 is King to me. I'm cautiously excited for 2042.
Fuk that guy
Honestly, he does have a bit of a point but I'm never gonna give up gaming. It's in my blood. I've been playing games almost as long as I could remember (20+ years). But, if it wasn't for the escape of video games, I would've delved into a psychosis. Last winter almost broke me mentally. ALL that stress from SElection wore me down significantly.
Some people garden and decorate some play games. Both are far better than other addictions.
I don't get them either I'm 66 loved pinball couldn't get into video games
Growing up there were kids every where skateboarding pick up games all day in summer Drive around now no kids stuck in video land eating microwaved Capt crunch 12 yo with stretch marks and juvinile diabetes
I've got a theory that what you experience in childhood is what you'll consider fun effortlessly for life.
Not that you can't develop new hobbbies as you age, they're just harder to get into.
I love the older Pokemon Games, but the current generations obsession with Roblox is mind-boggling to me.
in that time you've probably experienced a book, movie or some TV I bet though. Games are no different, they merely combine the best of all 3 of those and allow actual interaction. They're an evolution of our creative mind. There's good and bad books and there's also good and bad games, as well as people who have unhealthy relationships with them.
People can meet friends in some games, people can use them as a brief moment of respite from this current nightmare of a reality we all live in, which we all need from time to time and we all find different ways of doing. There's even great lessons to be learned and stories to be told from them just like books or good movies. Don't paint with such a broad brush and blame the entire medium fren.
Because you were born way before them, haha. You're 46 years older than me.
Dude ... what the fuk? My grandparents 35 years ago said the same shit about my new ATARI 6400. Then they lost their shit about me playing Dungeons and Dragons. I went and saw Twisted Sister and AC\DC. I was destined for prison and hell. Then they couldn't compute how I got a 31 on my ACT, vice prez of the Baptist Student Union, 2 masters degrees.
Times change. Sometimes Games are just fuking games.
