Sorry, can't believe a word out of this one's mouth. She's a fraud, always has been.
If you think Alanis Morissette is talented, you need to check out "Too Hot". She released 2 albums under this format, and sold none of them.
See, Alanis wanted to be like Britney before Britney was Britney. I lived in Ottawa at the time she was 'up and coming'. She was made fun of everywhere by everyone. She sang the national anthem at a Rough Riders ( Ottawa's old CFL team ) and she was laughed off the field.
And her little Jagged Pill album? She contributed ZERO to that album. The entire album was written by a guy. Her album after Jagged, in which SHE wrote, completely flopped, big time. She's been desperate for attention since.
She used to be on "you can't do that on television" as well.
Not saying she's lying, but I guarantee she's not telling the whole truth.
She was 21 years old when she put out one of the best, and best selling, albums ever. So you are saying she was a failure as a teenager, "up and coming", because she had some growing pains.
Who cares if someone else wrote some of the lyrics of "Jagged Little Pill", or all for that matter. You seem to have an agenda.
By any metric, Alanis is one of the most popular singers of all time. You are cherry picking negatives to do a personal attack on her. You glow, you learn.

And Avril faded from pop culture as fast as Alanis
