Bush may have secretly betrayed the country but he openly betrayed us, the Republican voters. We defended him and his decisions for over a decade against raving mad leftists, and he never supported us back and never fought them back. He stirred the pot and left all the fighting to us, and we did it because we believed he was a good man and we knew the left was evil. After all those kids joined the military and died for his decisions, after so many years of us arguing with friends, family, and strangers over George W Bush, in the end he backstabbed us. He called us and those soldiers terrorists.

Revealing Bush's true loyalties is one of Trump's greatest achievements. We already knew Democrats were traitors, but 99% of Republicans never would have believed Bush was too. Only a political wrecking ball like Trump could've knocked down the facade of President Fake Conservative and exposed the alarming network of grifters and shills of Conservative Inc. It causes both anger and relief, but at least the path forward is now crystal clear. It leaves optimism, not hopium.
