Well if someone opens up a business in Alabama (south) let me know, so I can tell my friend who may end up looking for a job soon. Her work is mandating by a certain date and she said they don't care if they quit or if they fire them. Being they all call my friend for help every time they flubbed something up and don't know how to fix it, or don't know how to do something or who to call to order parts, ect.... I think they will know they made a big mistake in letting her go.

That's when you start up your own consulting business and gouge the ever living fuck out of their desperate asses.
If your employer sees you as disposable, you should probably start looking for a new employer, so you can leave on your terms, instead of their terms.
