He has a potential broken foot and they are refusing to treat him over a mask! The manager came out and said oh you have to wear it. I even offered to wait in the car but they said we had to have it on to go back. She said oh we are just trying to protect everyone. No that’s not it at all. I am so mad.

The problem is this: state and OSHA regulations require the doctor to do this. He may or may not want to on his own. But if he doesn’t, he could get a hefty fine, OSHA or the department of Health may come into his office for a visit (these are NOT fun), and he could end up losing his license or admitting privileges.
They’ve put doctors and dentists and all other healthcare providers in a very sticky place. Sometimes you really do have to pick your battles. Good luck with your son.
Sorry, I have to murder you. If I don’t, my business will get shutdown.
Fuckin’ A.
"It's just business!"
Where have I heard that before?
I know it. But it's hard for a single provider to stand up- he or she will simply get cut down by the government with no recourse.
If providers were to band together, this would be a different issue. But the medical industry is so captured/converged at this point that there is no chance for this happening on the needed scale. Sucks hard
