So, this is what the crop looks like just before the harvest. It's supposed to be dried out like this because they are harvested as dry beans, not fresh beans (like a green bean). Maybe he should just go knock on the farmer's door and ask him.
I looked for a video that might show what harvest looks like and found this. If you skip to 4:32 you'll see what I'm talking about. https://youtu.be/IFTuvbPgQMk
Now obviously I'm not there in person to verify the condition of that field but just wanted to add this perspective in case he's misreading the situation. I do kind of wish he would have given us a much closer and clearer look at the plants.
Yes, I’m curious now as you’re correct. Seems odd to make a post unless it happened overnight? Doesn’t sound like he’s the farmer, anyway something must be “up” here?
I dated a girl from Canada a few years back and her family were farmers who grew mostly wheat, barley and some canola. I learned then that if a crop (mostly wheat) is not ready for harvest at the time it should be, they "desiccate" it with basically Roundup to help dry it out for harvest and it's a practice that's been around for year's.
Working on it 👍🏽

It happened overnight and a lab is testing them to see what they were sprayed with.
Went from green to brown overnight? Well that sounds more like poison if that's true. Still though I would just ask the farmer.

Yes this does happen and is a disgusting practice as we end up ingesting all that glyphosate.
Holy...wow. It’s no WONDER the incidence of cancer has gotten so high. World in chaos wherever you look...
Yeah...it’s not 100% clear on circumstances.
Ha, I needed to loosea few pounds anyways.
