I'm 40. I had social studies. I was never taught the constitution.

I'm a bit older than you and I had civics in 8th grade and social studies in 5th. I grew up in a very red state, which helped.

I graduated HS in ‘79 and we had Social Studies, but never Civics. Massholeland. I studied The Constitution on my own later as an adult. I always wished we’d had Civics.
