I've been to America three times; thrice to NYC and once including Las Vegas. I loved it all, and I absolutely loved the reward good service culture. It matters so much just to walk into a place, even a 'chain', and to be made welcome and 'shown what to do', especially for someone like me on the autism scale who is naturally anxious about social situations where I "don't know what I'm supposed to do". I honestly had the best chicken and avocado sandwich ever in Denny's, just North of the Stratosphere, when I highly needed it lol.
I adore your country and I haven't even explored a fractional nth of it. Here's to far more future coverage 😍
Dear "USA-aficianado", what I interpret you to be saying is that we - the USA - are among the most blessed and fortunate people anywhere on earth. And, we are especially blessed to have the privilege of welcoming people like you to come and visit us.
Yes, there's a lot of scary stuff going on right now - but if you plan ahead and communicate ahead of time with good people, there's still PLENTY of "wonderful" for us to share with you.
Especially, I would love for you to see the Fall colors of the Smokey Mountains (and Nashville) [traffic at that time will be crazy] and also the Rocky Mountains (but you'll probably need to pick one or two spots to visit. The Rockies are a LOT to take in!!). Just looking at mountains, there's a BUNCH to see. BE NOT AFRAID; just please be careful. We still are populated with some of the most gracious and caring people on Planet Earth.
Please come see us and please, keep us in your prayers. We want you safe and we love you. Give us a chance to show you. I don't think you'll be disappointed. LOL! You'll be able to tell everyone that you 'knew' us, "wayyy back when..." we were re-learning how to be grateful for who we are... ;)
GBY & your loved ones!
There's so much to see! It is a great place, despite the awful blue cities.
Are you Dutch?
I've never been to either city, so you are ahead of me. ;)
