Google are as corrupt as the day is long. They're also cowards, operating in the shadows because if they were to do what they do in the light of day they'd be destroyed by the people.
Google also removed a slogan that said "don't be evil" a while back.

I remember watching a TV program in the early 2000s talking about Google and being part of the anti-christ agenda. I thought it was wild and crazy at the time, and wondered how that was gonna come about.
It's proven itself correct.
I don't know that it is THE antichrist, but definitely is anti-christ in policies and agendas they do. But, a lot of big organizations are right now. Especially all the top "big tech" ones.

In Aus, just confirmed - Duckduckgoo has it, tried a few search terms for Google and the UK one came up... they are running a hit piece on Ivermectin tonight on the news, it's just plain malfeasance with real malice.
Probably unpopular around here because it`s Microsoft but Bing returns same result as DDG : proudly open for all australia
DDG aggregates from Bing, I believe. They don't use only Bing, but does get content from them.
This shouldn't surprise anyone. I seem to remember, not too long ago when their auto suggest/complete would only yield one suggestion for "clinton body..."
In stead of "clinton body count" the world was introduced to "clinton body shop" a collision repair garage in the middle of nowhere.

You can still switch the search engine within chrome to duckduckgo,just peruse the settings.
The Epoch Times is well worth the subscription of $39/3 mos. I get real news like this all day long and a beautiful, old-fashioned print paper once a week. This print paper has enabled me to get through to one person who was a tough nut.

Google cooks every search to meet its own agenda, not your needs. It’s so bad now that it’s consistently unreliable about almost even simple, nonpolitical search results.
Also, quotes around your search strings are now usually ignored. So not only do they decide what you’ll find, they also decide how and what you look for.
Google’s over-engineered algorithms obfuscate anything resembling the truth. Artificial intelligence? The only operant phrase in that term is the adjective.
