You can still file for unemployment. I've been fired for bullshit reasons (things I didn't do) from 2 places. Both times I collected unemployment because while Ohio is an "at-will" state, and they can fire me for wearing the wrong color of nail polish, they still have to pay unemployment benefits if I can show that I didn't get fired for cause (breaking policy or doing something obviously wrong). Both times the employer tried to fight my application but I won. And in this climate, you're better off getting fired than quitting because later I really believe we're going to see massive repercussions for them firing people for refusing the jab. If you haven't already lost your job, be sure to submit a religious exemption in writing before they fire you - that should sweeten the pot later for the 1st Amendment violations. Just my opinion, but I've been reading a lot about this lately.
I was fired one time, and they had my manager show up at the employment office to lie about me. "He treats customers badly." "I was there three whole years." "You don't get unemployment, and there's no appeal. You can leave now."
