I'm not sure which nutter I heard this from, but the claim is that he was tasked to assassinate Trump and he refused.
After his rape case, he actually became a devout Catholic and really turned spiritual. On all counts, I think it was authentic and he just showed up at church wherever he went. People have stories that they were in Church and, look behind them to see Kobe just sitting there behind them.
Anyway, when he refused to "pay his dues" to the Cabal, they took him out so he couldn't warn anyone as to the time/place it would have gone down.
They then turned to Tiger Woods, and he refused after David Spade tasked him to. They didn't kill him successfully, but they did enough.
Since then they've tried tapping Kanye, but he's kind of untouchable at this point. Since he started making Gospel music, the Big Man upstairs seems to be keeping him safe.
Again, whether or not all that is true is up to you at this point, because my sources are bottom-barrel Fourth Dimension nutjobs. I still listen to them though, because I'm painfully optimistic in cases where the absurdity of it turning out to be true would make me laugh, and I don't want to miss out on that chuckle fest.
