Trump has said several times. "The best has yet to come".

He keeps sending messages about illegal immigration. Here is what I am confused about.

Does he think he has a plan to resolve this if he comes back in?

Once they are here.

How do we fix that issue?

What am I missing here?

A wall is only one part of a system to stop illegal immigration. Because nefarious politicians will try to undermine it in the future
