What's the difference between a flu vaccine and insulin? If you give the wrong one you have committed malpractice. She should sue everyone in that hospital. Regardless of harm inflicted she was the victim of a sentinel event and a license should now be forfeit and just monetary damages paid. This is unconscionable if true.
Potentially for work requirements. My wife is in medical admin. Thankfully exempt for the jab due to working remote but still has to do Flu shot every year. I pray that this doesn’t happen to her.
WTF would anyone take a flu shot anyway?
But the flu has been eradicated though!!!!!!!!! There were only 1000 cases in 2020!!!!!!!!
Especially a teenager. That's so weird.
Doesn’t matter.
What does matter is that a person was injected with something OTHER than what they had consented to be injected with.
That is malpractice
And a judge would say that she should thank them for the mix up. That she recieved a life saving shot and should he happy. case dismissed.
And that would be grounds for a mistrial
It’s the judges job to intrepid the law; not interject his personal bias or opinion. That is how a judge earns a disbarment.
It’s very simple. You asked and paid for “x”. I gave you “something other than what you asked for” and charged you for it
What I did was without permission, without consent or informing you.
Yes. Under no circumstances are you even allowed to make such a mistake.

To catch the flu and spread it around, obviously
