And even then, youre holding a gold bar... good luck exchanging that for cash. Can’t pay for groceries with a gold coin, you can however pay for groceries or even meals with bitcoin lol.

Anyone saying crypto is a scam are people who have done zero research or heard down the grapevine that it’s going to zero. Meanwhile every cycle it goes up in value. If you don’t believe in the US government and you disagree with them printing trillions of more dollars yearly which devalues your dollar, your INCOME, buy the greatest store of value in modern history... BITCOIN. Don’t say it’s going to get banned (government said they have no interest in banning it) don’t say it’s centrally controlled (the biggest bitcoin wallets are owned by different entities, and mining operations are owned by different companies/people...if those shut down any person with a computer can mine it.). Ugh, life changing money awaits if you would open your mind, but most boomers think gold and silver are the way to go. They probably didn’t invest in any dot com entities cus the internet could be turned off and your entire company becomes obsolete (guess we saw how big the internet got eh?)

I have a dell computer right now that I can turn off and crypto is still making me money sir. Almost no electricity required except turning my computer on to check how much I’ve made lol. I could buy a $500 laptop and make great money from crypto. Mining is becoming obsolete. Proof of Work is being phased out, Proof of Stake is already in effect with most blockchains out there. Bitcoin will continue to be mined until all 21 million BTC have been minted. Until then, private companies are indeed buying up the supply, but there are no two “Chinese companies” that own a majority of BTC. one, a Chinese company holds the most Bitcoin out of any private company, but it holds only 140k BTC out of the 18 million circulating. Binance holds the most BTC in cold storage, they hold over 200k BTC. ETFs, more notably Grayscale Bitcoin Trust holds over 650k BTC. More ETFs will be approved maybe even this month and the supply will diversify even more. Show me evidence of these two companies that hold a majority of BTC. It is all on a public ledger. Until then your spouting non sense that you probably read on Yahoo Finance two years ago when China controlled over 50% of bitcoin mining. China banned BTC. They banned mining. Why? Because they copied the tech, made it, and are banning all use of any crypto in China so you have no choice but to use their new digital currency they’re releasing (what a shocker, they copied Google, YouTube and Twitter over there and banned use of those platforms). If you don’t hold a BTC or aren’t in any form of crypto ser, ngmi.

Likening rough times to storms did not start with Q, but so many on this site think he coined the phrase.

They seem genuine at a glance, but let's dissect these "tenets".

  1. One should act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason.

What does reason have to do with empathy and compassion? One could argue that it is irrational to act compassionately toward someone who can provide nothing in return. So is this tenet promoting empathy and compassion only when there is self-gain? Or that we should act with reasonable amounts of compassion and empathy?

  1. The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.

Sounds like they are advocates for the ever-changing mob rule mentality.

  1. One's body is inviolable, subject to one's own will alone.

Does this mean they are accepting of suicide? Which takes precedence the 'inviolable' part or the 'one's own will' part?

  1. The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is forgo one's own.

Again, ambiguous meaning. Yes, the freedoms of others should be respected, but does that mean we allow pedophiles freedom to do as they please as long as their child victims give consent?

  1. Beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs.

The second sentence is a noble sentiment that the scientific community should strive to meet, but the first sentence is a bit odd. Why is it imperative to equate values to science? Not everything can be explained by science such as love and miracles, but this tenet claims a person's beliefs and morals should be quantified by the scientific method. I see it as a ploy to cheapen our intrinsic value as humans and to dissuade belief in something greater than one's self.

  1. People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.

I agree with this.

  1. Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.

Spirit prevails over words? What is spirit, but feeling? What are words, but ideas? Are they saying what we feel is compassionate, wise and just supersedes law and order? What is law but a consensus of acceptable behavior? Sure, not all laws are just, but the people have the power to change them. I'd rather live in a law-abiding neighborhood than one whose residents were dictated by subjective feelings.

The truth would put 99% of people in hospital. How many people have had a McDonald's breakfast sausage?

Here's a post about the homeschooling resources. Maybe you can find a local co-op like Nolagirl99 suggested. Your wife should not be putting you down for prioritizing the kid's well-being and education. It sounds like you are a great father. God bless you, QuantumRemedy!
