The morning was birthed in overcast and what looked to be a certainly rainy day.
Mobile counter-protest antifa/BLM on a cart with wheels and multiple flags running through our area in the early morning during set-up.
My nerves were on high alert since most of my most adored content creators themselves were telling me. "Don't go."
In the back of my mind I was afraid of the possibility of unjustly retribution from the fourth branch of government or counter-protesters.
Or people posing as both as we ended up finding out.
However I re assured myself. I'm not breaking any laws...and technically D.C. is neutral ground for this purpose.
I had the honor of helping set-up and watching the Union Square fill with what ended up being mostly reporters and curious counter-protesters either posed as patriots or sneaking in their message on our permitted grounds.
At one point during the final stages of set-up it was so bad that I had to physically stand as a human wall between the personal property of volunteers and a wave of 10-12 reporters aggressing into the area where we are behind the stage.
Getty-Images, USAToday, German Press, NBC, BBC, Citizen Journos/Youtubers all acting like rabid wolves trying to find any breach and barraging the volunteer patriots with questions and aggressing towards us backstage.
Asking questions like
"Where is everybody?!"
Another asked me, "What the heak is going on this rally is nothing but press?!"
"Where are all of the protesters?!" another fomented around the same time.
Watching the mainstream media rats scramble like starved rats looking for anything to consume was an incredible sight to physically witness.
Union Square was their cage.
We took back the narrative. We took back control.
They now had to only react to us and the content on stage which was orderly and beautifully presented.
Before the event started we sang the national anthem to a brave patriot's flag in the crowd.
Agitator counter-protester tries to interrupt us just before beginning the anthem.
In unison, almost like we all had the same exact idea without speaking to another we instantly drown out his voice with the crashing wave of our combined patriotic voices singing the national anthem
He walks away ashamed with his tail between his legs.
I even witnessed some Press who joined us in this effort.
Shortly after the anthem, almost in what seemed like an act of God, the clouds parted and the sun began to BEAT DOWN on the entire Union Square perfectly even though there were plenty of clouds in the sky that could have blotted out our location from the shine.
I watched as other aggressive press in the front row were held back by our incredible security guys.
Some of which wore BLM regalia which confused attendees at first but we quickly realized they were with us.
These security guards, even though they had opposing views, defended us against waves of press, counter-protesters, and agitators.
Utmost respect for the security guys who we had.
At one point during the event capital police encircled union square with air support.
Standing near the stage and seeing the scrambling press, helicopters whirring, military looking police behind me beyond the union square fence.
We were a small group of patriots up against what appeared to be a machine of force that could be dispatched at a moment's notice if anything had went wrong.
Thankfully Capital Police, Metro Police, Other law enforcement as well, did an excellent job of indeed protecting US from THEM.
This was important because it put on display who the aggressors were and who was being targeted which was US.
The patriots.
It was impossible to avoid what was so glaringly obvious.
I was so proud to be among the few courageous peaceful volunteers and rally goers.
As the event came to a close agitators and counter protesters did continue to question volunteers as we helped clean up the event.
Security continued to support us as we set up to leave.
Other patriots and I went up and down Union Square and picked up the trash that MEDIA and BLM/ ANTIFA left in the grass.
Piles of plastic water bottles and even some dismembered baby doll parts scattered throughout the grounds.
One unhinged counter-protester was making abortion arguments aggressively and tossing around dismembered baby doll parts in some odd attempt to get a reaction from peaceful patriots or volunteers.
Even our BLM supporting security team made comments about how they don't exactly agree with us, but most certainly can't stand the type of behavior the left was putting on display.
We looked like based chill patriots and the left and media looked and acted like lunatics with the exception of a few media who seemed to be acting in good faith.
This was an incredible experience at the end of the day and it felt good to take part in an event that made the media and lefties look out of control.
I'd like to think yesterday was a massive victory for the good guys despite the naysayers.
To the naysayers I will say this, I understand your concern and where you guys are coming from.
It does appear on the surface that the 4th branch of government is being weaponized against the America-First Right.
Luckily if we stand peacefully and respectfully through the proper channels, we can still let our voice be heard and even make the left/media look like idiots while doing it.
Much love to Matt and the team for pulling this off.
America First, America Forever.
I was very relieved that the event went without incident. I was worried there would be plants attempting to create a scene. Thank you for sharing, Patriot. This was nice to hear.
