This has been one of my tactics when talking to “moderate” friends.

Whenever they talk about how inept Biden or Pelosi are (they’re good people with good intentions, just not very bright, I’m told).

I always say, “Just put that aside for a moment, but think of all the things that these people do that don’t make sense or seems inept. Now, assume for a minute that they were TRYING to make all of this stuff happen, that they had a master plan for this all along, and suddenly everything that doesn’t make sense… makes sense.”

This is essentially when the lightbulb went off for me, was when I realized how much everything made sense when I assumed they were evil.
