This all will end badly for Pfizer and for Australia's government.
When the news comes out about all of the blood clots, heart damage, covered-up deaths and other problems from the vax... Australia isn't going to listen to "no liability" legal arguments.
If they have spent tens of millions to push this, they obviously have other plans regarding the lawsuits. My guess is that they have already compromised the lawyers, judges, politicians, media, etc. So they aren’t worried—they are pushing full steam ahead.
Liability counts for shit when a country decides to wipe your existence out in their lands, regardless of whether it's legal or not. The law of the land can be changed.
You are absolutely correct. The “no liability” clause refers to civil liability, not criminal, and even in the civil realm it is not absolute. If they are shown to have deliberately and knowingly introduced a harmful product or actively covered up the danger after acquiring knowledge, they will be liable, both civilly and criminally. This will take a long time to play out and many will suffer but too many are in too deep to back out now.

No they won't, they aren't liable.
They're going to make out like bandits and pin this all on Trump in about a year, a year and a half, just in time for the 2024 general ring circus.
