They know. For instance they were prescribing HCQ off label to arthritis patients for year's. In fact I think that's why the President was over Covid in days, he was probably on it already considering his age and higher level of activity than average for his peers.
When doctors were told it was suddenly dangerous without a recall, that off label isn't ok... That opened some eyes.
I bet most doctors have NO CLUE at all about what they prescribe.
They look at a patient. Ask some questions. Take a blood test. Input the info into a computer. Get a "diagnosis" and from there, they have the computer spit out what the prescription should be.
Then they go in to talk to the patient, acting like they know what they are talking about, when in fact they do not.
You have no idea how close you are to the truth. Clinical systems are using more and more automated clinical decision technology to "assist" doctors with what tests to give and diagnose.
If Trump would have been on HCQ, which is used for rheumatoid arthritis that is not responding to other drugs, he would Never contracted Covid in the first place. Arthritis patients that are on HCQ are a rather small cohort compared to arthritics that take the other various treatments. Trump took Regeneron to treat Covid. I have heard blurbs that he took Ivermectin also but haven’t been able to confirm.
Yup. My mom was put on it by her rheumatologist many years ago. I saved her old meds when she died and you bet I searched through them the very day I read about it's possible use in covid, lol.

Their goal is to eliminate the doctor altogether. Once people are trained to be comfortable interfacing with a robot, no more human docs.
Reminds me of the hospital scene in "Idiocracy".
