add fat and you won't have hunger pains, butter, coconut oil.
I also drink snake juice, It's a mix of sea salt, potassium and magnesium for my electrolytes.
Also cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, cabbage, zucchini, some low carb fruits like strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, almonds, pumpkinseeds are all keto foods. I could go on but check out the videos I mentioned above,.
You're welcome, and if you're only eating one meal a day keto sounds like the way for you, you will have loads of energy because what keto does is it gets your body to burn fat for energy instead of carbs. You've already got the fasting part down.
I'm very proud of you losing the weight I lost 70lbs on keto myself. If you find you're losing too much weight eat more food, you can increase your carb intake to 50 if you're losing too much. Still keep it in the one meal. I try to make my carbs count with things like whole milk cottage cheese which has fat and protein.
The benefit to a higher fat diet is no more brain fog, lots of energy, and no more hunger pains. Use fats, like butter, coconut oil, and olive oil. Also bacon is good to eat on keto, lol.
Most definitely, and you won't be hungry and you won't have to chug water all the time.
The trick for water is keeping your electrolytes in balance.
I drink snake juice which is a quarter teaspoon pink himalayan sea salt half tsp of potassium no salt brand salt substitute is pure potassium and usually an eight of a teaspoon of food grade epsom salt for magnesium. You can adjust these to meet your needs. You won't retain water because your salt intake and your water intake will be in balance. I usually drink three bottles of water a day it meets my needs some people drink more some drink less. The eight cups of water isn't literally water it's eight cups of fluid which is also included in the moisture you get from food that you eat.
Like I said I've done a lot of research on this, lol. The best thing about a keto diet is no pain or inflammation, and higher brain function. Your brain is made of fat. Keto was originally a diet for kids with seizures, and weight loss is a benefit of it.
There's a whole world out there of low carb keto cooking I count total carbs I don't do the net carb thing, but that's up to you. I think when food labels put net carbs it's just a way of marketing. Oh and Shiritaki noodles you'll thank me later lol. I make my own, but you can buy them at the store they're a little spendy but good if you want noodles or pasta no calories in them at all. Also for sweeteners stevia. Ok done for now give me a hollar if you want more help.
