YOU NEED THE INSURANCE. Yeah, so you can keep being tracked and throw away your money more into this shit
It's not fucking insurance, it's paying into a club. When you're a member you can get whatever benefits they give you. This shit with the insurance racket is way in overdrive already and it's poorly defined to begin with. They need to call this shit "health clubs" that have the same exact shit they do already.
It was more like insurance before that Obama monkey came in and fucked it up, at least before his nonsense it was a simply stupid "copay" that ranged between $50-150 and you're fine and done. These days? If you're fucked you're going to spend a good 10k+.
I pay copay of like $5 or $10 for regular doctors or specialists. ER visits may run $100.
No deductibles, either. A lot of people have insurance like that. I went to get my knee checked out twice because it was acting up, paid $20 total for 2 visits, X rays, the shot that cleared up inflammation and pain, and mo the later I feel fine.
My covid tests were/are covered but that's another story (vaxx mandate cop out, my red line is the shot. I do drive by testing where I test myself in my vehicle and don't actually twirl the swab and I can keep saving up some money while I can at work before the full mandate comes along and I get fired whenever that is)
I pay like $200 a month, not even. Employer foots the other 800, but if I opt out my salary doesn't change much and I'm hung out to dry if I get sick.
Sounds like you have at least halfway decent "insurance"
Most of the people I know pay much more per incident. It also sounds like you're paying the ~$200 for yourself, which is kind of high especially if it's just for yourself but fine enough for just a single person.
I just don't know why everyone just accepted this bullshit that happened and even now, keep accepting this nonsense. It's like the government just figured out how to royally fuck everyone over nice and slow enough without any sort of resistance.
I accept it because without it. In the current system, I'd be hung out to dry over any little thing.
It's written into my contract as a standard aspect of it that I don't really have control over. I have many plans to choose from but this is the cheapest and covers the most.
I'm not going to deny it for a couple hundred bucks a month extra and then be royally screwed for any little procedure done.
This also includes dental and vision which I don't need since I paid for lasik out of pocket. But it's a package deal.
